Hiya friends, glad to have you back! :)
I've got another haircare system to share with you today from Grace & Stella. If you've been keeping up with this blog, you've probably seen my other product posts from the brand. I've tried a foot mask, a cleansing brush system with 7 interchangeable heads, peppermint oil, and now their Argan Oil Shampoo + Conditioner.
The first thing that caught my eye was the packaging. I really like the geometric pastel lines, simplicity, and–of course– the humor that they use in their quotes. I definitely need saving from "those damn knots" from time to time haha.
The shampoo and conditioner came together in a kit and claim to restore, hydrate, moisturize, and rejuvenate all hair types, including color treated hair. Products include nourishing ingredients like various natural oils (argan, macadamia, jojoba), aloe, vitamins B/E, and shea butter. Sounds like a dream, right? It certainly smells like one. It's a light fresh scent with a bit of warmth pushing through. Nothing heavy or off-putting, which is actually very telling of their formula.
The creamy shampoo and conditioner both go on in a very nourishing way to coat your hair. What I really like about this is that compared to other argan oil hair systems, this one doesn't weigh my thin hair down or make it go slick flat. It allows my hair to keep its volume while still being hydrated and adds lots of shine. With that said, I definitely wouldn't reach for this when I'm in need of some serious damage control, but for the everyday upkeep I think this is beautifully light and nourishing; very pleasant to use.
Can we also talk about the fact that these come with a pump! Ahhh pumps make getting in and out of the shower so much quicker. My only gripe is with the nozzle on the conditioner. I'm not sure if it's the actual packaging or the pairing of it with the thicker formula but the nozzle sticks, making it difficult to get the product out. This, of course, doesn't do much to save time. It says nothing about the actual integrity of the product inside, just something I noticed when using it.
Additional pros about these 16 ouncers are that they're made with 100% pure organic oils, are not tested on animals, and are paraben-free. The brand definitely prides themselves on formulating and providing a more naturally based solution.
Want more good news? Grace & Stella are having a SALE! The 4 sweet letters that when combined are music to our ears. Four letters to match the 4 sweet products you can get for up to 70% off. Their End of Summer Promotion is going on right now and will last through Sunday at 12:00am. Woohoo!
