November felt like the shortest month so far this year! Anyone with me? I was still able to use up quite a bit so let's jump in to these goodies.
First up is the Lorac Pro Mascara which I won't take up too much time reviewing since I just featured this in last month's favorites. Main points are that it's a HUGE fluffy wand which took a while to get used to, but once I did, I was pleasantly surprised. The brush and lightweight formula really allowed building up volume and combing every lash.
As I've probably by this point overly shared, my lashes are pretty crappy and get weighed down by practically every mascara on the face of the planet. This one was no different. I like to use a waterproof mascara underneath regular mascaras to keep my lashes lifted throughout the day and I really enjoyed this one that way.
Unfortunately, I had this one sit in the back of a drawer for too long :( so it dried out pretty quick and started to flake. Definitely would pick this up again once I've exhausted my mascara stash.
The Boscia Cool Cleansing Oil was another favorited item back in August. I ping ponged between this and my usual Philosophy Cleansing Oil and I have to say that I (not so) secretly enjoyed this one more! I purchased mine at the Sephora tiny temptations maze before checkout for $10 ($30 for full size). I'll definitely have to pick up another small bottle to alternate between my fave :) I so enjoyed the smell and the fact that it has a pump! Be sure to check out my August Faves post to read my thorough review.
How cute is this tiny Batiste Dry Shampoo?! I had never tried the Blush scent, so I was pretty pumped to receive it in an Ipsy Glam Bag. Overall, my experience with the Batiste line has been pretty consistent. All of the scents I've tried have consistently worked out, giving my hair longer wear without getting so oily or flat between washes. It's great for adding volume on clean hair as well! The scent of this one passed my snobby sniffer's test with its fruity freshness. I'll definitely be purchasing this one again.
Mad Hippie is a brand that I had heard of around social media, famous for its all natural good-for-you ingredients. I encourage anyone that would like to incorporate natural brands into their routine to check them out. They also donate $1 from every web sale to wildlife conservation causes which I think is very telling at the type of ethics they practice. Let's also not forget that their packaging is friggin' adorable ahhh! If you'd like to try the brand at a lower cost, they currently have some bundle deals going on over on their website. drugstore.com also carries them, often offering discounts as well.
I've also mentioned this Mad Hippie Eye Cream in my August Favorites post where I go into detail about my experience with the product, but just know that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sinks in quickly, great ingredients, easily accessible hydration, and has a pump. I'm excited to try more from the brand!
I've gone through so many of Mario Badescu's Facial Sprays that I've lost count lol. Love this for refreshing and hydrating my skin when it's particularly parched, aggravated or when it's so sensitive to products that I need a very light little sumthin' to hydrate yet let my skin breathe. I dunnoโฆthis stuff is simply a must for me, plus, it smells amazingggg. I'm currently working on a jumbo bottle from Hautelook.
Next up is another small Clinique Moisture Surge pot that I purchased from ACW a while back. I like ordering smaller versions of this moisturizer because they're so convenient for travel, but it looks like they're fresh out. I've since ordered the travel size squeeze tube from Ulta which is much more travel friendly.
Great Stuff! Very good for sensitive skin and it has an almost slippy gel consistency that is so easy for your skin to drink up. I was struggling for a while there with moisturizers and this is just the thing I reach for in between my go-to Philosophy products. To read my review from a prior Empties post, click here.
Burt's Beesus! By far this is my favorite lip balm by Burt's Bees. It's made with bee's wax instead of jellies (like a lot of trendy products such as Nivea or EOS do) that actually dry out your lips once the oily film dissipates. The Pomegranate version of this balm is my favorite because it gives just the right tint to my lips without making them look done up at all. I use this morning and night and it really just gets the job done. Nothing more and nothing less, it's just an all around solid contribution to my daily routine. I recently purchased a Burt's Bees holiday trio from Ulta on Black Friday that I've been really enjoying, but I'm sure I'll come back to this guy :)
Another Mario Badescu Special Cucumber Lotion has been added to an empties. I feel like I mention this product every other day haha. It's a great product and smells lovely. I have come to trust the Mario Badescu brand as a whole quite a bit which is really exciting to me. If any of you have any recommendations, let me know! I'd love to venture into different avenues. Saving sexy for last ;) The Rusk Being Sexy Hairspray is hands down my favorite for a hold that's still touchable. I have quite fine hair and get a lot of flyaways and this guy works beautifully! The nozzle releases a fine mist that doesn't weigh your hair down and it smells amazinggggg. Very fresh but almost perfume-like that lasts all day. I like to pop into my local Marshall's to see if they have them on offer. I think I got this one for $7 bucks and have since purchased another for $9 and 2 mini travel sizes for $3 each. Not too shabby ;)
That's it, Loves! After last month's super crazy empties, I was worried I wasn't going to finish enough to post about this time around, but I'm totally on a roll here haha.
