After enjoying quite a few other products from the brand, I decided to purchase the Fiona Stiles Mistake-Free Makeup Eye & Face Contouring Palette from Ulta Beauty.

This is a great way to try products from the brand. If you're looking for a no fuss palette that gets the job done right, I highly recommend looking into this for its affordability and ease of use.
Upon first impression, I must admit that I was a little underwhelmed. The swatches for some of the products seemed a little dry and patchy, but once applied to the skin, these powders really transform you in the most naturally beautiful way. It's makeup that doesn't take away from your natural beauty but simply enhances what you already have going on.
I highly recommend Fiona's face products for oily skin types in particular as they are dry enough to stay put throughout the day as well as not sink into your pores so easily. Highlighting your face can be tricky when you have larger pores or scaring. The Light Illusion Prism powders add a glow without calling too much attention to problematic areas. This is not to say that other skin types wouldn't love them too. I think dry skin types could enjoy using these products when skin is appropriately prepped.
The eyeshadows all work perfectly with one another to achieve a bronzed look that compliments any eye color. The quality of the shadows are nice, but upon first impression, not out of this world. It wasn't until I really began familiarizing myself with them that the tide started to turn and I now find myself reaching for them quite a bit. Their formula is thin, fully opaque, has nice color payoff and minimal fallout.
If you're someone new to makeup or not so comfortable with the whole contouring and highlighting craze that's happening, Fiona has created a line that is branded as "Mistake-Free" and I could not agree more as they seemingly blend themselves with minimal effort. The look you'll achieve using the
Eye & Face Contouring Palette is a warm bronzed eye to compliment radiant, healthy looking skin.
Now before going any further, just prepare yourself for an unflattering photo of yours truly coming up soon. You'll see that I really put this palette to work! haha
It's beautiful for everyday wear as it can be worn lightly or built up for a more dramatic effect. However, if you're aim is to create a bold look, you'll have to pair this palette with other products.

I tried to use as many products possible from the palette. I used all of the eyeshadows, the sun veil, neutral highlight and peach blush. This look could easily be amped up with some false lashes, a little bit of winged liner or a deeper lip.
The
Fiona Stiles brand is highly under-hyped. Everything I've tried so far is fantastic and so affordable. If you'd like me to show my complete Fiona Stiles collection, let me know. I'm crushing hard on the brand and it doesn't look like it's gonna cool down anytime soon.
