I recently received a package from Influenster containing two of Giorgio Armani's Lip Magnet lip dyes. So generous, right? This is definitely the type of product I'd typically swatch in store and talk myself out of purchasing because of the $38 price tag. Is it worth the money?
My favorite of the two is shade #400 Four Hundred for All which is a gorgeous orange-based red that, despite its warm undertone, still makes your pearly whites beam. Incredibly difficult to achieve this "universal red," but Armani Beauty nailed it.
This is a bold eye-catching shade for one who wants to be noticed when they walk into a room.
Shade #505 Second-Skin is also beautiful due to its flattering neutral pink hue. Honestly, it's not one that I'd typically gravitate toward, but it's been a great addition to my work bag. It adds a sophisticated, fresh spin on a daytime nude. Armani Beauty are marketing this one as a "vibrant rose" selection.
I think either shade would look fab no matter your hair color or complexion is, but if neither one is your cuppa, they have 16 additional shades to choose from. In my opinion, they're safe but flattering hues ranging from varying depths of pink, reds, nudes, and mauves.

The money your paying is for an all around high-quality, fully opaque product which you can tell experts took our varying needs into consideration.
This is not your typical liquid lipstick and will not pass the kiss test.
If you're familiar with the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick formula, this is very similar in its comfort and viscosity, but far more evenly pigmented, nourishing, and less transfer resistant. The product features a rich high-quality formula that is comfortable, hydrating, and long-wearing. It wears down to a flattering stain without making your lips feel dry or flakey, which is a small price to pay for a little transfer, if you ask me.
The product's innovative packaging is also something worth mentioning. With an angled applicator that is a doe foot around the edges and a flexible soft plastic in the center, it's easy to apply evenly with minimal effort. The best part for me is that you don't have to fuss around with a lip liner! The triangular doe foot tip is perfect for achieving a precise application in record time.
The twist cap also has a satisfying click-shut secure that makes any beauty enthusiast's heart flutter.
All things considered, I think the Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet would be perfect for someone looking for a lip product that requires minimal effort for a maximum effect. Do I think it's worth the $38 price tag? In short, Yes. Treat yo self. If you think about it, you're investing that lip liner money into a better quality lippy. This is a stand-alone product that doesn't depend on other products or tools to make it work.
