Hello lovelies!

It's been a few weeks since I've revamped my skin care routine with all new products and I've gotta say….I feel like a new woman! Very exciting stuff, but what's even more exciting is finding a potential dupe that'll save us all some big bucks ;)

One of the new products I've recently incorporated is the Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub with Dead Sea Salt. Looking up reviews online, my curiosity peaked as I read review after review absolutely raving about this product. I just had to try it.

With opening the jar, I was greeted with a very familiar sweet lemon scent that I just couldn't put my finger on. I dipped into the creamy fine grit texture and immediately, my light bulb turned on. Could this be an affordable dupe for the Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant I was raving about in my Dr. Brandt face mask post? In short–yes!

Both products claim to polish away dead skin, leaving behind a more radiant and youthful glow. Overtime (when used as directed), microdermabrasion treatments reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyper pigmentation, and scarring.

Not only do both products look, feel and smell the same, but they actually perform just about identical to one another on the skin. The only real difference between the two products are in the ingredients.

I only have the sample size of the Dr. Brandt option from a previous Ipsy bag and loved it so much that I immediately placed it on my Sephora wish list. But there was always something holding me back from purchasing the product. Price. Quality and performance were never in question, but I'd always skip out and use more affordable options that never really made the cut in comparison. Until now, that is.
