Here's a quick peek inside this month's Sephora Play! box :)

According to the Play! Book, this month's box titled "The It Crowd" is curated around all the coolest products on the market to help you look, smell, and feel fresh to death.

Each box consists of 6 deluxe sized products ranging from makeup, skincare, beauty tools, and fragrance.

The first item is the super fancy Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment by Sunday Riley. This skincare treatment is retailed at the highest price point of all items included. Full sized, it will set you back $105 USD.

Milk Makeup released their Sunshine Oil as a versatile beauty oil you can use head-to-toe for on the go hydration.

Next is the Derek Lam 10 Crosby 2am Kiss perfume which has 2 simple, but yummy notes: salty caramel and crystalized amber.

Each box will also typically include a Sephora Collection product. This month's item is their Colorful Cheek Ink Gel in the shade Peony.

Does this lip pencil look familiar? Don't worry, you're not going crazy! If you've been a Beauty Insider with Sephora, you probably received this Nars Satin Lip Pencil in the shade Rikugien as a birthday perk last year.

Peptides are a recent introduction to my skincare routine, and this Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream looks like just the thing to help brighten up the eye area.

That's all, folks! I'm super impressed with the 2 boxes I've received so far and can't wait to re-vamp my daily routine with these new goodies.

Thinking of joining? The beauty subscription runs for just $10 a month and you'll get only high end products sold in Sephora stores. If you haven't heard of this service before, or want more general info about it, be sure to read my introductory blogpost where I gush out all the preliminary deets from its launch.

As you can probably imagine, there's been a high demand to join in on the fun, so it can be a bit tricky to join at the moment since it's still a relatively new subscription. Here are 5 tips that may help get you in:

  1. Make sure to sign up on their e-mail waiting list by clicking here and filling out your info.
  2. Use your e-mail linked to your Sephora Beauty Insider account when you sign up and check it regularly.
  3. Follow Sephora on social media, check the Sephora Play! hashtags, and basically stalk your favorite beauty bloggers pages for any new info they share ;)
  4. Because the subscription service is on an invite only basis at the moment, it's a good idea to ask friends/family that are currently subscribed to refer you when they receive an e-mail from Sephora asking for invitees.
  5. Have multiple e-mails? Why not try a couple on their wait list? You may just increase your chances since they, seemingly, choose people at random.

So many of you have reached out to me asking how to join and my thoughts on the Play! box. I highly recommend it if you like trying new products or have expensive taste but are ballin' on a budget. If you haven't been able to join just yet, don't fall behind! Remember that you can always read up on the products here, then go in to your local Sephora and ask them for samples of those you'd like to try.

As always, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
