Both the Vivid Baked Bronzers & Highlighters carry 3 different shades to choose from and are $6.00 each. In the U.S., you can only purchase MUR products online through the U.S.
MUR website or select items on the
Ulta Beauty's website. A great feature to note is that both websites accept
PayPal as a form of payment. Woohoo!
Below are my thoughts as well as several images and swatches to help you decide whether or not to purchase these products. It's always good to make an educated decision before spending that hard earned cash ;)
B R O N Z E R S
I own the first 2 of the 3 shades, Ready to Go and Golden Days. I'm considering picking up the third, 'Rock on World', but I'm not sure I'd get as much use out of it as the 2 I have for my skin tone.
P R O S
- Pigmentation
- Marbled product gives dimension and warmth
- Easy to use and control formula
- Blendable
- Versatility--You can use them as a bronzer and eyeshadow, wet or dry
- Easy product view with clear lid
- Glowing sheen (depending on your preference)
- Cost! At only $6.00, they're so affordable
- Wears beautifully on many skin tones depending on how you use the product. It's GORGEOUS on deeper complexions as a highlight too!
C O N S
- They do run a bit warm, so if you're looking for a neutral toned product, this isn't it.
- Sheen--again, this depends on your preference. If you're a matte girl, skip this.
- Inconsistency in formula & finish--each of the 3 products has a different finish, some running more shimmery than others. The least shimmery is Ready to Go which has a satin sheen, but not full on shimmer.
- As with a lot of baked products, there is a bit of fall out to be aware of.
- Packaging is sturdy, but bulky. Also, if you're looking for a product with a mirror, this isn't it.
- Only 3 shades to choose from which I think works for medium to deep complexions better than fair to light.
- I've only seen these products carried online so far which can be a hassle to choose your shade. If your local Ulta carries them in store, let me know :)

Golden Days & Ready To Go |
H I G H L I G H T S
P R O S
- Gorgeous product emboss
- Holy pigmentation! Golden Lights is especially buttery and pigmented.
- Easy to use and control product
- Versatility--Can be used anywhere, wet or dry
- Easy product view with clear lid
- Multidimensional highlight that gives an almost duo chrome effect.
- Shade selection will work for most complexions
- Easy to blend
- Again, cost is amazing!
C O N S
- Inconsistency in formula & finish--Peach Lights and Radiant Lights are just about on par with one another, but are less soft and buttery as Golden Lights. They're all beautiful! However, if you have dry skin, you'll need to be careful as these do tend to run dryer than other products out there. Make sure to moisturize properly and you'll be set.
- Bulky packaging with no mirror
- Fall out is an issue with the highlights in particular. I feel like I'm wasting this beautiful product when I go in heavy handed, but it's just a matter of getting used to how much pressure to apply.
- Online purchasing won't give you the product's full effect.

Don't underestimate these baked goods. I think most would be surprised at just how unique these products are, especially for drugstore prices. In particular, the duo chrome finish that the highlighters give off gives them an edge that can't be beat in the drugstore. They wear much more expensive than your wallet will feel, which I'm sure will add to your glow factor.
As you can hopefully tell, I really enjoy both the bronzers and highlighters. I say buy both if you're in the market for them, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd have to go for the highlighters hands down! If you're like me and enjoy collecting products that give a glow, you
need these in your life! At $6.00 bucks, you just can't go wrong. Buy!
