With its autumnal feel and eye-catching glitz, this month's Ipsy bag titled "Face Fashion" gave us a taste of glamour leaving us ready to vamp up our beauty routine for the season ahead.
I have to say I'm excited to share what I've received this month as it's one of my favorite Glam Bags to-date. Here's a peek insideβ¦
The bag is a golden bronzed pleather zip-up pouch with a hint of shimmer as it catches the light. Its zig zag ribbed texture facade is great for mixing it up with a little texture this autumn.
They did a great job this month combining the feel of fall with a glamorous edge and I can see myself using this bag straight through the holidays.

Ipsy and NYX Cosmetics collaborated on this smokey 3 Color Shadow Palette that really kicks things off. I was excited to receive this since it has year-round appropriate colors and is a great size to throw in your handbag for touchups.
The color selection features a champagne gold with tiny gold flecks (shimmer), deep chocolate brown also with gold flecks (shimmer), and a black that's actually black (matte)! I wish the shades had names that I could share, but none are printed on the trio which leads me to believe these are Ipsy/NYX exclusive shadows.
Ya'll know how much I've been loving my skincare lately, but I'm always up for trying something new. The VasantiBrighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator is an exfoliating cleanser enriched with papaya, Micro-crystals and Aloe. This sounds amazing! Papaya is filled with enzymes that are naturally brightening, the Micro-crystals sound great for polishing up skin, and the aloe will no doubt soothe and condition skin.
The packaging states that it's suitable for all skin types and is paraben and sulfate free with 99% natural ingredients which makes this girl really happy :)
Pixi Beauty is a brand I've been hearing about more and more on the gram this year so I'm not surprised to see the brand be featured.
The Shades of Brow Mini Brow Trio is SO cute! I know some people will be semi-annoyed with the size of this, but honestly you need only use such a minimal amount of powder on your pretty arches to frame your face. Awesome size for travel.
The three shades are completely matte and range from a neutral tan suitable for blondes and brunettes depending on the look you'd like to achieve, a medium and a dark brown shade. Don't forget to mix and match! I know I'll be using all three shades.
The Liptini Special Edition Lipstick in Starlet Cocktail adds a perfect touch of glam with its sophisticated red hue. This full-sized treat is adorned with a cute, festive illustration of a martini on its packaging. The best part? The smell! As soon as I took the cap off, I knew it was gonna be a hit. It smells like yummy cupcakes. Can't wait to wear it!
The Temptu Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer is swoon worthy at first impression. It's a blush pink shade with lots of tiny shimmering particles running through it. Safe to say that Imma go hard on this one lol I'm loving cream and liquid products lately, but there was something else that caught my eye about it. As soon as I saw the liquid highlight I got a flashbacks to a couple of different occasions.
The second memory was of a recent visit to one of my favorite budget friendly beauty sites ACW. I was checking out their new merch when I came across the brand Temptu for the first time. Upon further research I found that Temptu creates beauty products for airbrush makeup units. If you're interested in purchasing the unit itself or other Temptu products, I highly suggest visiting the ACW website as they have select products at a reduced price.
For those of you thinking about trying out the $10 a month subscription service, I say go for it! I've been so pleased with my experience so far and am trying out so many products from new and long-time favorite brands.
