When Grace & Stella contacted me about trying their foot mask, I immediately jumped on the web to research the brand. No matter big or small, it's really important for me to only work with brands that I think we'll

Because my shoe of choice is typically a sandal of some sort, showing off my feet is inevitable so I really try to keep them nice. The simple fact that this foot mask makes your feet flake and peel really made me anxious because I wasn't sure how that would look, feel or for how long my pups would need to be in hiding mode.
Here is my journey from dry and dull to fresh and fab feet.

I used the foot mask immediately after a warm shower. The booties are clear plastic, run up to your ankles and are pre-filled with their treatment solution. The red tape strips functioned well enough to secure them shut, but could be tackier. Because the booties were larger than my actual feet, wearing a pair of cozy house socks overtop helped to keep them in place as well as allowing the solution to be soaked into all areas of my feet. To avoid slipping or falling, do not walk around for the hour they're on, just kick back and think of all the reasons why you're awesome.
The strong alcohol smell made me a bit nervous at first, but I did not experience any discomfort or burning sensation at all. However, I would not advise you to use this product if you have any open wounds or skin sensitivities. I do suffer from eczema and sometimes have flare ups on my ankles. Thankfully this product didn't aggravate or cause any symptoms.
Clean up was really easy with soap and warm water. I didn't notice any immediate difference, though.

A little bit of dryness, are mildly itchy, but nothing major. No signs of peeling yet.

Oh. My. God.
I just got home from a long day at work and when I took my boots and socks off, I had this funny sensation as if I had rice paper in my socks. Um...nope. My feet finally decided to peel!
The peeling is mostly on the soles of my feet and is shedding off in larger sheets. I feel no discomfort, just the odd sensation of having peeling skin in my socks. Feeling like a really attractive human being right now, ha. Oh man...I hope my husband's not reading this!

More peeling. I definitely recommend wearing socks on a daily basis, even to bed just to keep things neat and sanitary, but do let them air out daily.
My feet have peeled quite a bit, but mostly on the bottoms and between/around toes. My newly exposed skin is wonderfully smooth and soft. I do have some extremely dry patches of dry skin still waiting to peel in tougher areas. I have not experienced any pain. Again, the only discomfort is the obvious sensation of skin flaking off.

After a week, my feet seriously look and feel like new! The dry, rough patches I had just yesterday were easily removable with gentle encouragement.

After a couple of weeks, my feet still feel really soft! They are still peeling slightly on the top now. I had about a day break where I thought my feet were fine, but nope! Definitely still doing its thang haha. Give yourself plenty of time to get through the process before wearing open shoes.

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect from this foot mask and was a bit weary that it may be a gimmick, but I can honestly say that this is a solid product. Though the peeling sensation felt strange, it was definitely a guilty pleasure to remove it. It was kind of like when you peel off a nose strip and sit back in awe of just how effective the product was. The idea of peeling skin is gross when you think about it, but absolutely fascinating at the same time. Results are totally worth the ick factor!
A bit of advice, this is something for those up for the commitment. If you have a special event, are going to the beach, or planning a weekend getaway in a new relationship, you may want to schedule this pamper sesh for when your pups can hibernate a few days before their big reveal.
I definitely recommend the
Dr. Pedicure Foot Exfoliating Mask for anyone curious to try, but especially for those who have dry, rough feet in need of some TLC. If you want something to treat yourself or a loved one, this is an experience with great results. If this says anything of the quality and effectiveness of
Grace & Stella's other products, I can't wait to try more!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my thoughts! If any of you have any questions about my experience, feel free to ask. I'm always here for you.
