After being phased off of Sephora shelves in early spring, Soap & Glory products could only be found on select websites for the past season here in the U.S.
For the last several months, the S&G website held a statement that was nothing short of teasing about what was next for the UK Boots owned brand. Though relieved the brand wasn't going away for good, it left us praying and pleading for additional skincare and makeup that our fellow British babes have raved about for years.
Their statement release promised no new products. What they did promise was nothing short of a pleasant surprise…drumroll please…They're dropping prices!
In addition to moving merch to web stockists, there's been much speculation about the brand moving back in to physical drugstores. Those of us who are old enough to remember know that Soap & Glory was originally sold at Target for years in the early-mid millennia before moving to Sephora. Now, people of the interwebs have speculated and begun to piece it all together. Rumors flew that these lovable products would be sold at Boots-affiliated Walgreens Pharmacies across the nation.
It simply made sense once you got to thinking about it. If Boots owns Soap & Glory, is affiliated with Walgreens and Boots No.7 products are sold at Target, Walgreens, and Ulta…isn't it only natural that S&G would be sold at these same locations?
Said and Done
I've been at the edge of my seat with the rest of you about what's going to happen and when we can next have the opportunity to test or purchase these products in person. Much to my clumsy surprise one insomniac driven night, I found myself mischievously browsing the
Ulta website's 'New Arrivals' section. I nearly dropped my phone on my face when I saw our sudsy, sweet smelling friends are back and cheaper than ever! YES!
There are
24 bath and body items added so far. No makeup, but hey...it's a start. Let's just be hopeful that these items hit Ulta in-store shelves too!
It's a real reason to celebrate! Be sure to check back this week for a post on my tried and tested Soap & Glory must-haves ;)
♥ xoxo
